
How do I register for classes?
Registration for the Fall session begins July 13. Call CLBI at
Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church, 43 W. Grass Lake Road , Lake
Villa , IL 60046 , 847.838.0103 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m.

Will there be assignments?
Yes, classes will likely have some reading and/or other short
assignments to complete each week as well as one project due by the end
of the semester. The instructors have been asked to take into
consideration that many of the students will be working people with
families and to make assignments accordingly.

How much does it cost?
Tuition is billed at the following rates: $40.00 per credit hour;
$30.00 per credit hour if enrolled two weeks prior to the beginning of
the semester. We are not set up at this time to receive credit card
payments.

What about textbooks?
Students are responsible to purchase their own books. Each
instructor will provide pertinent information regarding the required
text for each class at registration including where it can be purchased
and the price.

Will the tuition be refunded if I have to drop the course?
Yes, tuition will be refunded at the following rates for dropped classes: 1st Monday – 100%; 2nd Monday – 50%

What happens if I can’t make a class?
Students will still receive academic credit if they attend 10 of the 12 scheduled sessions. Attendance will be taken each week.

When does the fall semester class schedule begin? Classes begin on Monday, September 8, and ends Monday, December 8.
All classes will be held in the evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please
note; some classes are 1 credit hour and run for 6 weeks, not the full
12 weeks. This will give you opportyunity to take another course within
the fall semester. |
How old do I have to be to take a class? The minimum class age is 16.
Is childcare available? Not at this time.

Is the Chain of Lakes Bible School accredited?
No, we are not. Our purpose is not to compete with local Bible
colleges and seminaries, but to provide quality Bible training that
will help lay people grow in their understanding and application of
God’s Word. All classes will be graded on a pass/fail basis.

Are scholarships available?
We encourage anyone wishing to attend who does not have sufficient
funds to contact his church to see if scholarship funds are available.

What do I have to do to graduate?
Each student must complete three core courses and six electives for a total of twelve credit hours. A diploma will be issued at a ceremony upon satisfactory completion of the course work.

Is there a maximum class size? Because we want to provide the best possible learning environment, we have limited class size to 35.
