Senior Pastor
Mr. Kerry Baumankerry

Dear Friends,

As we begin the third decade of our existence as a church family I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt love and appreciation for each one of you. Partnering together in the ministry we have enjoyed the privilege of being used by God to introduce many to faith in Christ. The power of the Gospel to transform lives has never been more apparent than it is today. It has truly been a joyous journey. I look forward with great anticipation to what the Lord will do here at CLCBC in the next twenty years. May you enjoy God's richest blessings as you follow Jesus and serve Him faithfully.

Your Pastor,

"... It has been a privilege for me to serve Christ among the people of our church. I have had the opportunity to lead many to a personal relationship with Christ while, at the same time, discipling others to be better followers of our Lord. Perhaps my greatest joy has been to watch individuals grow in their understanding of God's will and submit to it in faith."

Kerry Bauman is the Pastor of Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church (CLCBC) in Lake Villa, Illinois. After graduating from Slippery Rock University in 1980 Kerry worked with Campus Crusade for Christ. He worked for two years in Chattanooga, Tennessee and then spent the next 7 years directing a team in Katy, Texas. While on staff, he participated in three missions trips - one to Freeport, Bahamas, one to Guyana, South America and the last one to Guam and Micronesia.

Kerry received a Master's of Divinity Degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1993 with an emphasis in evangelism and missions. Kerry went on to pursue a career in sales. The call to return to ministry led him to join the staff of CLCBC in 1998 as Pastor of Student Ministries and in 2003 he became Senior Pastor.
